Painted Poppies

Supplies:

·        Stamp Sets – Painted Poppies (151599); Peaceful Moments (151595)

·        Card Stock – Whisper White (100730); Basic Black (121045)

·        Stamp Pads – Memento Black (132708); Poppy Parade (147050)

·        Misc. – Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (DSP)  (151324); Snail Adhesive (104332); Peaceful Poppies Sequins (151325); Whisper White ¼” Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (151326); Mini Glue Dots (103683). 

           

Measurements:  

·        Card Stock 1:            Whisper White   8 1/2” x 5 1/2”                   

·        Card Stock 2:            Basic Black   5 ¼” x 2”                                

·        DSP:                           5” x 1 ¾”                    

           

Instructions:

1.    Fold Whisper White card stock in half to create card base.  Score if desired.

2.    Using the Snail Adhesive, center and adhere the DSP to the Black card stock.

3.    Stamp the images on your card front in the desired placements. I chose to stamp off the color first on the poppies to create a lighter flower, then come back with the splatter image in the full color.  This is just a preference.

4.    Using your adhesive, apply the black bordered DSP down the left side of the front.

5.    I added some sequins and a bow to add interest.  Both were attached with glue dots.
